Greg Mania is a writer, comedian, and award-winning screenwriter based in New York City. His words have been published in Vanity Fair, PAPER, Out, The Rumpus, The Huffington Post, Thought Catalog, Posture, BULLETT, CREEM, LADYGUNN, among other international online and print platforms.

He has also recently served as guest faculty teaching a series of writing workshops alongside other literary luminaries such as Roxane Gay and Chloe Caldwell for Personal Disclosures, which is exclusively sponsored by The Second City.

In film and TV, he has recently co-wrote and co-produced his first feature-length film, Deadman’s Barstool, which is currently being submitted to festivals all over the world. His pilot script, MANIA, has recently been named the Overall Winner of the Third Annual Filmmatic Screenplay Awards and Second Place Winner at WILLiFEST, was nominated for Best Script at the 9th Annual New Media Film Festival in Los Angeles and the Palm Springs International Comedy Festival, and, as of writing this, has also been named a semi-finalist at the 15th Annual Screenplay Festival in Los Angeles, the 10th Annual Atlanta Film Festival Screenplay Competition, and this year’s Creative World Awards.
